Dr David Cao, founding principal of Hawthorn East Dental, obtained his Bachelor of Dental Science at University of Melbourne in 2004, after completing VCE at Melbourne Grammar School in 1999. He gained his experience working at Caring Dental Group, Malvern East Dental and Dental Perfection, before establishing his own practice.
Dr Cao is a caring and highly experienced dentist, with extensive experience in cosmetic dentistry and all aspects of general dentistry. He is a preferred provider of Invisalign and Myobrace and certified in the use of Botulinum Toxin (BOTOX/Dysport). Dr Cao is also an accredited dental surgeon at Bellbird Private Hospital.
David takes pride in his gentle and calming approach to dental procedures, with a large following of patients whom have fear of the dentist. This includes both children and adults. He aims to build rapport and patient’s confidence with each dental visit.
Dr Cao is a member of ADA, OM and Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, dining out and spending time with his wife and two kids.
