HCF Dental Clinic
Hawthorn East Dental welcomes HCF members with dental cover to our HCF Dental Clinic.
Most of the diagnostic and preventative dental services are 100% covered for eligible HCF members attending a recognised HCF Dental Clinic such as Hawthorn East Dental. You may be covered for dental care such as:
- Fluoride Treatments ·
- 1 to 2 dental check-ups per the calendar year ·
- Scale and Clean
- 2 Mouth Guards (limited)

NIB Dental Clinic
As a NIB dental clinic, we are able to assist you with a high level of dental care for your whole family. NIB offers the option of Hospital cover and/or Extras Cover and a NIB Dentist can provide dental work under the NIB extras cover for eligible NIB members. Extras cover is sometimes called ancillary cover and often covers dental services such as check-ups. Each extras cover will usually list the percentage you get back, up to a set annual limit.
Speak with NIB about the types of NIB dental cover you have. You can call us if you need some advice about the type of dental work you may require in order to speak with NIB or to check your insurance coverage to see what you can claim.
With an insurance cover, it’s important to find out about waiting periods. If your dental work is needed immediately and you only just signed up with NIB, you may not be covered by your NIB dentist for some months.
