If any of the following has happened to you whether it is through wear and tear, an accident or problem dental hygiene then you may want to consider porcelain veneers. We know you don’t want to hide your smile so why delay it any longer. Call us to find out how we can help.
Is this you?
- Chipped teeth,
- Worn teeth edges,
- Discoloured fillings,
- Tooth spacing problems or gaps.
- Stained teeth.
Porcelain veneers are often used for a smile make-over and to visually improve the look of your teeth. Being able to smile freely and confidently has a large impact on your self-esteem and it is our aim to have your smile openly and freely.
Since your mouth is unique to you, we encourage you to speak with our highly qualified and caring dentists to find out whether porcelain veneers are the right dental solution.
What are Porcelain Veneers?
There are two types of veneers; porcelain veneers and composite veneers. Composite veneers (also known as composite bonding) are resin and cheaper alternative to porcelain veneers which are made of ceramic. The materials used are the key differentiator between composite veneers and porcelain veneers.
Porcelain veneers may cost more but they are stronger than composite veneers and they last longer.
Porcelain Veneers Procedure
While composite veneers are a relatively quick process requiring the resin to be applied to the tooth/teeth, the porcelain veneers procedure is more in-depth.
The porcelain veneers are precision-crafted specifically for your mouth after consultation. Mockups are done, any changes are discussed and then the colour is selected. Any dentistry needed prior to fitting is conducted and the tooth surface where the veneer will be fitted is lightly prepared ready for the application of the porcelain veneer.
It takes approximately 5 appointments for the process to be completed including reviewing. You can see the fantastic results we have achieved and the great smiles we have created with our porcelain veneers before and after. We are also ready to help YOU smile happily again.
Dental Insurance Cover for Porcelain Veneers
While generally veneers are considered cosmetic and some dental insurance won’t cover it, we do have insurance providers who are able to give you discount fees on porcelain veneers. We can put you in touch with our insurance providers who can advise on your level of dental cover.
How Much do Porcelain Teeth Veneers Cost?
As each mouth is unique and requires different work even before the veneers, it’s difficult to give an exact price. Further, if you require more than one porcelain veneer then the cost will be more significant. As a guide, porcelain veneers (item 556) are approximately $1200 – $1770 (maybe higher) per tooth (Source: ADA annual dental survey conducted in October 2017.) If you have dental cover then you may save on this dental treatment.
